Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1980 British murder mystery The Mirror Crack’d based on the Agatha Christie novel, directed by Guy Hamilton and starring Angela Lansbury (as Miss Marple), Geraldine Chaplin, Tony Curtis, Rock Hudson, Edward Fox, Kim Novak and Elizabeth Taylor. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by John Cameron (A Touch for Class, The Ruling Class, Kes, The Jigsaw Man, Hawks, Night Watch, Whiffs, Jimmy the Kid). Sonhouse Records has released a soundtrack album for the Belgian TV series Dead End (Dood Spoor). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Lachlan Anderson (Tabula Rasa, Grafted, 6 DaysMister Organ, The Dead Lands, The Boat). PJ HarveyTim Phillips have won their first BAFTA TV Craft Award for their music from the second season of the Apple TV+ original series Bad Sisters created by  Sharon Horgan, Brett Baer & Dave Finkel and starring Horgan herself, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson at tonight’s awards ceremony at The Brewery in London. Premiering on Wednesday, April 30, is the Argentinian Netflix original series The Eternaut (El Eternauta) created by Bruno Stagnaro and starring Ricardo Darín, Carla Peterson, César Troncoso, Marcelo Subiotto, Ariel Staltari, Andrea Pietra, Claudio Martínez Bel, Orianna Cárdenas and Mora Fisz. The show’s original music is composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, The English, A Gentleman in Moscow, Watership DownMisconduct, The Head, Life Itself). Francisco Sokolowicz  has provided additional music. A soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score will be announced soon. Jeff Richmond has composed the original score for the new Netflix limited series The Four Seasons. The show is created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher (Never Have I Ever) & Tracey Wigfield (Saved by the Bell, Four Weddings and a Funeral) based on Alan Alda’s 1981 feature of the same title and stars Fey herself, Steve Carell, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Erika Henningsen. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action thriller The Accountant 2 directed by Gavin O’Connor and starring Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, J.K. Simmons, Allison Robertson and Daniella Pineda. The film’s original music is composed by The National’s Bryce Dessner (Sing SingWe Live in Time, The Two PopesBardo, Cyrano, She Came to Me,Manhunt, A Good Person). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as  cover version of Nina Simone’s See-Line Woman performed by Danielle Ponder & Dessner last Friday. Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1983 comedy drama Class directed by Lewis John Carlino and starring Rob Lowe, Jacqueline Bisset, Andrew McCarthy, Cliff Robertson, John Cusack, Virginia Madsen, Lolita Davidovich and Casey Siemaszko. The album features the film’s original score from the Orion Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Elmer Bernstein (To Kill a MockingbirdThe Magnificent Seven, Ghostbusters,  AirplaneFar from Heaven, The Age of Innocence), as well as several source cues and bonus tracks. The album features selections of the original score from show’s second season composed by hip hop/music producer Primary (aka Choi Dong-hoon) (A Shop for Killers, D.P).
