Alexander Bornstein has been tapped to score the upcoming documentary First to the Moon. The film is directed by Paul J. Hildebrandt (Fight for Space) and tells the story of the Apollo 8 mission and the three men that crewed it. The movie features extensive, all new interview footage with Commander Frank Borman, Lunar Module Pilot Bill Anders and Command Module Pilot Jim Lovell and will contain restored footage from NASA, the national archives, and the astronauts themselves. ‘Kin’ Soundtrack Details

Temporary Residence will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Kin. The album features the film’s original music composed by the post-rock band Mogwai (The Returned, Before the Blood). The soundtrack will be released on August 31, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Listen to a track from the album after the jump. The film is directed by Adam Robitel (Insidious: The Last Key, The Taking of Deborah Logan) and stars Deborah Ann Woll, Logan Miller, Taylor Russell, Jessica Sutton and Tyler Labine. The movie revolves around six strangers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to survive. Rob Lord (Slipstream) has signed on to score the upcoming comedy drama Troupe Zero. The film is directed by Bert & Bertie and stars Viola Davis, Allison Janney, Mckenna Grace, Mike Epps, Jim Gaffigan, Charlie Shotwell, Edi Patterson and Bella Higginbotham. The Amazon Studios production follows a group of elementary school kids who start a Girl Scout troupe. Lucy Alibar (Beasts of the Southern Wild) wrote the screenplay. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Black Water. The album features the film’s original music composed by Spencer Creaghan (Nobody Famous). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 29, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Black Water is directed by Pasha Patriki and stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. The movie revolves around a deep-cover operative imprisoned on a CIA submarine who teams with a fellow prisoner to escape the vessel and expose who set him up. The film is directed by Gerard McMurray and stars Y’Lan Noel, Lex Scott Davis, Joivan Wade, Luna Lauren Velez and Marisa Tomei. The movie is a prequel and focuses on the events that lead up to the very first Purge event.
