Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide today:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey & Rodney Rothman and starring Shameik Moore, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber and Brian Tyree Henry. The film’s original score is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8). Sony Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score (click here for more information). Also opening wide is the crime drama The Mule directed by Clint Eastwood who also stars in the movie alongside Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Pena, Dianne Wiest, Andy Garcia, Alison Eastwood, Taissa Farmiga and Ignacio Serricchio. Arturo Sandoval (For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story, At Middleton) has composed the film’s original score. Toby Keith has contributed an original song to the movie.
