Universal Music will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix original documentary Quincy. The album features the original song Keep Reachin’ by Quincy Jones & Mark Ronson feat. Chaka Khan. Also included are several classic tracks by Jones, as well as songs by Ray Charles, The Brothers Johnson and Lesley Gore. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 21 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. ‘An Actor Prepares’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy An Actor Prepares. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Tony Morales (Hatfields & McCoys, Scorpion, Elena of Avalor, Bloodline). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 5, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. An Actor Prepares is co-written and directed by Steve Clark and starring Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston, Ben Schwartz, Mamie Gummer, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Will Patton, Frankie Faison and Matthew Modine. The show is developed by Damon Lindelof (Lost, The Leftovers, Prometheus) and stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Andrew Howard, Tom Mison and Frances Fisher. Lorne Balfe has signed on to score the upcoming action thriller 6 Underground. The film is directed by Michael Bay (Transformers, Armageddon, The Rock) and stars Ryan Reynolds, Corey Hawkins, Dave Franco, Melanie Laurent, Adria Ariona, Manuel Garcia-Ruffo, Ben Hardy, Lior Raz and Payman Maadi. No plot details have been announced yet for the Netflix original movie, which is scripted by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland). Jeremy Zuckerman has announced that he is set to compose the music for Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The show is based on the animated Nickelodeon series, which aired between 2005 and 2008 and follows the adventures of Aang and his friends who live in world, which is divided into four nations — the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads — each represented by a natural element for which the nation is named. Tyler, the Creator has written an original song for Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature The Grinch. The rapper/record producer is also performing the track, which is entitled I Am The Grinch. He also collaborated with the film’s composer Danny Elfman on a new version of the classic Grinch song You’re a Mean One. The Grinch is directed by Scott Mosier & Yarrow Cheney and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s generous holiday spirit.
