‘Dantza’ Soundtrack Album Released

Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish musical feature Dantza. The album features the film’s original music composed by Pascal Gaigne (The Endless Trench, The Olive Tree, Nora, The Giant, The Chapel, Remember Me). The soundtrack was released as a limited edition CD last month (visit the label’s official website to order) and is now also available digitally (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). Ludwig Göransson Wins Academy Award for ‘Sinners’ Score

Ludwig Göransson was honored with his third Academy Award for his score from Ryan Coogler’s Sinners at tonight’s 98th Oscar ceremony. He previously won the prize for his music from Coogler’s Black Panther in 2019 and from Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in 2024. Check out his acceptance speech after the jump. Anne Chmelewsky (Where Hands Touch, The Shepherd, To Cook a Bear, Maestra, Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, Only People) is the composer of the new BBC drama The Other Bennet Sister. The show is developed by Sarah Quintrell (The Power) based on Janice Hadlow’s novel of the same name and stars Ella Bruccoleri, Ruth Jones, Richard E. Grant, Indira Varma, Tanya Reynolds, Richard Coyle, Dónal Finn, Laurie Davidson, Varada Sethu, Maddie Close, Molly Wright, Poppy Gilbert and Grace Hogg-Robinson. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the romantic drama Reminders of Him directed by Vanessa Caswill and starring Maika Monroe, Tyriq Withers, Rudy Pankow, Bradley Whitford, Lainey Wilson and Lauren Graham. The film’s original score is composed by Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Shrinking, Knuckles, Dog Man, Daisy Jones & the Six, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Early Man, Book Club: The New Chapter). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as an original song by Noah Cyrus and another song by Morgan Harper-Jones today. Also opening wide is the Canadian horror feature Undertone written and directed by Ian Tuason and starring Nina Kiri, Adam DiMarco, Michèle Duquet, Jeff Yung and Keana Lyn Bastidas. Shanika Lewis-Waddell has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows the host of a popular paranormal podcast who becomes haunted by terrifying recordings mysteriously sent her way, premiered at last year’s Fantasia International Film Festival and is being distributed by A24. Leeway Music & Media has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean historical drama The King’s Warden. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dalpalan (Moving, The Wailing, Believer, Tempest, Romantics Anonymous, A Bittersweet Life). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s final track after the jump. The King’s Warden is co-written and directed by Jang Hang-jun and stars Yoo Hae-jin, Yoo Ji-tae, Park Ji-hoon and Jeon Mi-do.
