Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the historical adventure drama Alpha. The album features the film’s original music composedly Michael Stearns (SamsaraOne Eight Seven) & Joseph S DeBeasi (American Sniper). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 26 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Alpha is directed by Albert Hughes and stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jóhannes Haukur Johannesson. The film is directed by Susanne Bier (After the Wedding, In a Better World) and stars Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar, Danielle Macdonald, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Hollander, Colson Baker, BD Wong, Sarah Paulson and John Malkovich. The full details of the soundtrack album for Steve McQueen’s heist thriller Widows have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Dunkirk) who previously collaborated with the director on 12 Years a Slave. Also included is the original song The Big Unknown by Sade and tracks by Nina Simone and The Cool Kids. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 16, 2018 and physically on November 30 by Milan Records. Sony Classical will release the first soundtrack album for the British historical drama series The Last Kingdom. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The White Queen, The White Princess, Jamestown) and Eivør. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 9, 2018 (click here to pre-order). Walt Disney Records has announced the official soundtrack album for the Wreck-It-Ralph sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet. The album features the original song A Place Called Slaughter Race written by Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin) and performed in the film by Sarah Silverman & Gal Gadot, a pop version of the track performed by Julia Michaels, the original Zero written and performed by Imagine Dragons (already available as a digital single here).
