Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the fantasy adventure Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald directed by David Yates and starring Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Zoë Kravitz and Callum Turner. The film’s original music is composed by James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, King Kong, Maleficent, The Sixth Sense). Also opening wide is the crime thriller Widows directed by Steve McQueen and starring Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Garret Dillahunt, Carrie Coon, Jacki Weaver, Robert Duvall and Liam Neeson. Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Dunkirk) has composed the film’s original score.
