sevenHowe Records will release the world premiere score release for David Fincher’s 1995 thriller Se7en starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, John C. McGinley, R. Lee Ermey and Kevin Spacey. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Aviator, The Silence of the Lambs, Hugo, The Hobbit). The soundtrack will be released on September 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. TVT Records has previously released the 1995 original soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie, as well as two tracks from Shore’s score. The film’s score is composed by Adrian Belew who is best known as the guitarist and vocalist of the progressive rock band King Crimson. Jake Monaco (Let’s Be CopsAbsolutely Fabulous: The Movie) has arranged and orchestrated the music. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow and will be available to download on AmazonPiper is directed by Alan Barillaro and follows a beach-dwelling bird who encounters a small hermit crab who teaches her the way of the waves. The short is currently playing in theaters nationwide in front of Pixar’s Finding Dory.

kaisers-last-kissIlan Eshkeri is composing the music for the upcoming period drama The Kaiser’s Last Kiss. The film is directed by David Leveaux and stars Lily James, Jai Courtney, Christopher Plummer, Janet McTeer, Eddie Marsan and Ben Daniels. The movie follows a German soldier who tries to determine if the Dutch resistance has planted a spy to infiltrate the home of Kaiser Wilhelm in Holland during the onset of World War II, but falls for a young Jewish Dutch woman during his investigation. The show created by Josh Wakely (Beat Bugs) is set in the imaginary city of Motown, based on Detroit and its rich musical heritage, and revolves around a lovable, funny and slightly shy eight year old boy who discovers he has the extraordinary ability to bring street-art to life. The series will feature contemporary artists performing hit songs from the Motown catalog by artists including Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5, Lionel Richie, The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder & more. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, Beasts of No Nation, Digging for Fire) and Saul Simon MacWilliams (Jim: The James Foley Story). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Gleason directed by Clay Tweel (Finders Keepers) goes inside the life of Steve Gleason, the former New Orleans Saints defensive back who, at the age of 34, was diagnosed with ALS and given a life expectancy of two to five years. The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select theaters on Friday, July 2, by Open Road Films before premiering on Amazon later this year.
