Julian Wass has been tapped to score the upcoming docu-series Lorena. The 4-parter is directed by Joshua Rofé (Lost for Life) and re-investigates the story of the notorious case of John and Lorena Bobbitt that made international headlines and helped birth a 24-hour news cycle, exploring vital moral issues and the missed opportunity for a national discussion about domestic violence and sexual assault. La-La Land Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Fox sci-fi comedy drama The Orville. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes, Miracle on 34th Street) who wrote the series’ main titles theme and scored the first episode, John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf), Joel McNeely (A Million Ways to Die in the West, Iron Will, American Dad) and Andrew Cottee. The film is directed by Nick Broomfield (Tales of the Grim Sleeper) and tells the story of enduring love between Leonard Cohen and his Norwegian muse Marianne Ihlen. The movie follows their relationship from the early days in Greece to how their love evolved when Leonard became a successful musician. The album features the film’s original music composed by Oscar Fogelström (The Hypnotist). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Aurora is directed by Yam Laranas and stars Anne Curtis, Mercedes Cabral, Andrea Del Rosario, Sue Prado, Ricardo Cepeda, Ruby Ruiz, Allan Paule, and Arnold Reyes.. The film marks the director’s English-language debut and stars Jenny Slate, Zach Galifianakis, Alex Sharp, Gillian Anderson, Fridjov Sáheim and David Paymer. The movie follows an American painter and a Russian émigré who find each other in the Arctic circle and discover a future and family that they didn’t know they had.
