WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack EP for the Teen Titans Go! mini-series The Night Begins to Shine. The EP features five songs from the 4-part event, including a remix of the title track by B.E.R. (aka Carl Burnett, Franklin Enea, & William J. Reagan), as well as new versions by CeeLo Green and the Japanese rock group Puffy Amiyumi. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 28, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. John Powell to Score ‘Han Solo’ Movie

Lucasfilm announced today that John Powell will score the untitled Han Solo movie. The film is directed by Ron Howard who took over directing duties from Chris Miller and Phil Lord and stars Alden Ehrenreich in the title role, alongside Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo. Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Return of the Jedi) and Jon Kasdan wrote the screenplay. Kathleen Kennedy is producing the project with Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Brigsby Bear. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Wingo (Loving, Mud, Take Shelter, Our Brand Is Crisis, The Sitter). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 28 and will be available to download on Amazon. Brigsby Bear is directed by Dave McCary and stars Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, Claire Danes, Mark Hamill, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Greg Kinnear, Kate Lyn Sheil, Ryan Simpkins, Matt Walsh and Michaela Watkins. Will Blair and Brooke Blair are reteaming with director Jeremy Saulnier on the upcoming thriller Hold the Dark. The film starring Alexander Skarsgard, James Badge Dale, Jeffrey Wright, Riley Keough and James Bloor is set in a remote Alaskan wilderness in which wolves have taken and killed children and follows a biologist who tracks down a young child. Saulnier also co-wrote the screenplay with the composers’ brother Macon Blair (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore). The movie continues to the story of the USA hit show, which the composers scored from 2006 to 2014, and stars James Roday, Dule Hill, Corbin Bernsen, Kirsten Nelson, Maggie Lawson, Kurt Fuller who reprise their characters from the series. They are joined by Zachary Levi who will portray villain Thin White Duke, as well as Jazmyn Simon, Ralph Macchio and Charlotte Flair.
