Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Big Mouth’ to Be Released

BMG will release the first soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series Big Mouth. The album features a selection of songs from the show written by composer Mark Rivers and performed by the animated comedy’s voice cast, including Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph, Jessi Klein, Jenny Slate, Jordan Peele, Jason Mantzouka, Fred Armisen, John Mulaney, Thandie Newton, Craig Robinson, Martin Short & others. Also included is Rivers’ Emmy Award-nominated song Totally Gay. Super Songs of Big Mouth – Volume 1 will be released digitally tomorrow, October 4 and will be available to download here. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Addams Family. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote) and Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, Storks). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Composer Arturo Sandoval is reuniting with Clint Eastwood on the upcoming drama Richard Jewell. The film directed by Eastwood stars Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde, as well as Paul Walter Hauser in the title role. The movie tells the story of American security guard, Richard Jewell, who heroically saves thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics, but is unjustly vilified by journalists and the press who falsely report that he was a terrorist. This week, Javier Navarrete (Pan’s Labyrinth, Wrath of the Titans, Greta, The Devil’s Backbone) is recording his orchestral score for the upcoming drama Sound of Freedom. The film is directed by Alejandro Monteverde (Bella, Little Boy) and stars Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, Eduardo Verastegui and Bill Camp. The movie tells the true story of Homeland Security agent Tim Ballard’s effort to rescue kidnapped children.
