Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish period drama The Barcelona Vampiress (La vampira de Barcelona). The album features the film’s original music composed by Alfred Tapscott (Superagente Makey, Sanctuary, The Wedding Unplanner). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and other digital music stores), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Barcelona Vampiress is directed by Lluis Danes and stars Nora Navas, Roger Casamajor, Bruna Cusi, Sergi Lopez and Francesc Orella. The movie is set in early 1900s Barcelona and revolves around Enriqueta Martí, also known as the Vampiress of Rava, and her connection to the disappearance of the young daughter of a wealthy family. The drama was released in select Spanish theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
