We The Best Music Group and Epic Records have announced the details of the soundtrack album for the action comedy Bad Boys for Life. The album features a selection of songs from the movie by artists including Meek Mill, Jaden, The Black Eyed Peas & J Balvin, Pitbull & Lil Jon, City Girls, Rick Ross, DJ Durel & others. DJ Khaled serves as the executive producer of the soundtrack, which will be released on January 17 and is now available for pre-order here. A separate soundtrack featuring Lorne Balfe’s original score is also in the works. Hollywood Records/Fox Music will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi horror movie Underwater. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, A Quiet Place, Ford v Ferrari, Scream) and Brandon Roberts (Free Solo, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, TURN: Washington’s Spies, The Twilight Zone). Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) has announced the line-up for the 22nd annual Composer/Director Roundtable and 18th annual Snowball Showcase during the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. BMI’s roundtable entitled Music & Film: The Creative Process will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Kimball Arts Center (1401 Kearns Blvd, Park City). The conversation will be moderated by Doreen Ringer-Ross, BMI’s Vice President of Creative Relations and focuses on the relationship between composer and director.
