Premiering in the U.S. is the World War II drama World on Fire written by Peter Bowker and starring Julia Brown, Yrsa Daley-Ward, Sean Bean, Lesley Manville, Jonah Hauer-King, Helen Hunt, Blake Harrison, Zofia Wichłacz, Brian J. Smith, Parker Sawyers, Tomasz Kot, Bruno Alexander, Patrick Kennedy, Johannes Zeiler and Eugénie Derouand. Dan Jones (On Chesil Beach, Shadow of the Empire, Any Human Heart, Lady Macbeth, The Miniaturist) has composed the show’s original music. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the selections of the drama’s score. Also premiering tonight is the British drama The Windermere Children directed by Michael Samuels and starring Thomas Kretschmann, Romola Garai, Tim McInnerny, Iain Glen, Tomasz Studzinski, Anna Maciejewska, Kuba Sprenger, Marek Wrobelewski and Kacper Swietek. Alex Baranowski (Nureyev: Lifting the Curtain) has composed the film’s original music. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. ‘Creators: The Past’ Soundtrack Released

Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album for the Italian fantasy drama Creators: The Past. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by the movie’s director Piergiuseppe Zaia. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A CD version is being released overseas and will be available to order as an import here. Creators: The Past is co-written and directed by Zaia and stars Gérard Depardieu, Bruce Payne, Eleonara Fani, Marc Fiorini, Jennifer Mischiati and William Shatner. Patrick Doyle to Score Declaration of Arbroath Documentary

Scottish newspaper The National is reporting that Academy Award nominee Patrick Doyle (Thor, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Cinderella, Brave, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Sense and Sensibility, Gosford Park, Murder on the Orient Express) is scoring a documentary about the Declaration of Arbroath, the letter submitted to Pope John XXII in 1320 that set out to confirm Scotland’s status as an independent, sovereign state. The movie, which has the working title Declaration, will feature appearances by historians Fiona Watson & Tom Turpie, broadcasters Billy Kay & Alistair Heather and author Andrew Redmond Barr. Opening on VOD today is the documentary Slay the Dragon directed by Barak Goodman & Chris Durrance. The movie centers on a secretive, high-tech gerrymandering initiative launched 10 years ago and follows everyday people as they fight to make their votes matter. The film’s original music is composed by Gary Lionelli (O.J. Made in America, Chasing the Moon, Last Days in Vietnam). No word on a soundtrack release. Visit the official movie website to learn more about the documentary, which premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is being released by Magnolia Pictures.

Also opening on VOD today is the thriller The Other Lamb directed by Malgorzata Szumowska and starring Raffey Cassidy, Michiel Huisman and Denise Gough. Rafael Leloup (Inheritance) and Pawel Mykietyn (Elles, In the Name Of) have composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie, which follows a woman who begins to question the leader of a cult and the insular world she was born into in this haunting vision of a nightmarish awakening, premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and is being released by IFC Midnight. ‘Clover’ Soundtrack Released

Mad Decent has released a soundtrack album for the crime drama Clover. The album features the film’s original music composed by The Diamond Mine. Also included is The Shacks’ cover of Crimson and Clover. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Clover is directed by Jon Abrahams and stars Mark Webber, Nicole Elizabeth Berger, Abrahams himself, Chazz Palmintieri, Ron Perlman, Jessica Szohr, Tichina Arnold, Erika Christensen, Julia Jones and Michael Godere. The movie follows two brothers – down on their luck, and in debt to a dangerous crime boss – who must go on the run to save themselves, and a seemingly innocent teenage girl. Hollywood Records has released the cover version of Meredith Brooks’ Bitch featured in the next episode of the Hulu original series Little Fires Everywhere. The song (co-written by Brooks & Shelly Peiken) is performed by Ruby Amanfu and produced by the show’s composers Mark Isham & Isabella Summers. The track is now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full song after the jump. As previously reported, a full soundtrack album for the show will be released on April 17. Little Fires Everywhere is created by Liz Tigelaar based the bestselling novel by Celeste Ng and stars Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Joshua Jackson, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jade Pettyjohn, Jordan Elsass, Gavin Lewis, Megan Stott, Lexi Underwood and Huang Lu. Apple Music/Paramount Music have announced a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Home Before Dark. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Nathan Lanier (High Strung, Max Steel, Jem and the Holograms, Justin Bieber’s Believe, The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers). The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Apple Music/iTunes. Home Before Dark is created by Dana Fox & Dara Resnik and stars Brooklynn Prince, Jim Sturgess, Abby Miller, Kylie Rogers, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, Deric McCabe, Michael Weston, Aziza Scott and Louis Herthum. The drama executive produced by Jon M. Chu follows a young girl who moves from the city of Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father left behind, where she unearths a cold case that everyone in town, including her own father, tried hard to bury. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth season composed by Rob (Maniac, Horns, Revenge, Troy: Fall of a City, Gretel & Hansel, Planetarium). The soundtrack is being released digitally overseas today and will be released in the U.S. later this year. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Tales from the Loop. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Academy Award nominee Philip Glass (The Hours, Notes on a Scandal, Kundun, Koyaanisqatsi, The Illusionist, Candyman) & Emmy Award nominee Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Wormwood, Dynasty, Designated Survivor). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 3 and will be available to stream/download here. Tales from the Loop is developed by Nathaniel Halpern inspired by the paintings of Simon Stålenhag and stars Rebecca Hall, Duncan Joiner, Daniel Zolghadri, Tyler Barnhardt and Jonathan Pryce. The full details of the new soundtrack album for the CBS All Access original series Star Trek: Picard have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery, Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 3 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Lakeshore Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring music from the first part of the series’ first season. Star Trek: Picard is created by Alex Kurtzman, Kirsten Beyer, Akiva Goldsman & Michael Chabon and stars Patrick Stewart, Santiago Cabrera, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Harry Treadaway, Isa Briones and Evan Evagora.
