Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s limited series Ripley. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, For All Mankind). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 4 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Ripley is written and directed by Steven Zaillian and stars Andrew Scott, Dakota Fanning, Johnny Flynn, Eliot Sumner, Maurizio Lombardi, Margherita Buy, Louis Hofmann, Bokeem Woodbine and Vittorio Viviani. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1990 action movie Navy Seals directed by Lewis Teague and starring Charlie Sheen, Michael Biehn, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer, Rick Rossovich, Bill Paxton, Cyril O’Reilly and Dennis Haysbert. The album features the original music from the Orion Pictures production composed and conducted by Sylvester Levay (Hot Shots!, Airwolf, Mannequin, Cobra, Stone Cold). The soundtrack includes the same content as Intrada Records’ 2010 premiere release for its main score presentation, resequenced into chronological order and with a re-creation of the end titles and also features additional bonus mono cues. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1969 western Death of a Gunfighter directed by Robert Totten & Don Siegel and starring Richard Widmark and Lena Horne. The album, which is being released as part of the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection , features the film’s original music composed by Oliver Nelson (Zig Zag, Ironside, Night Gallery, The Six Million Dollar Man). Also included is (premiere release of) the composer’s score for the 1970 adventure drama Skullduggery directed by Gordon Douglas and starring Burt Reynolds and Susan Clark.
