CMA Records will release a soundtrack album for the British period thriller The Critic. The album features the film’s original music composed by Grammy Award winner Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!, Love ActuallyRomeo + Juliet, The Great Gatsby, The Incredible HulkRay, Far from the Madding Crowd, The Quiet American). The show is based on nine-book Karl Alberg series by novelist L.R. Wright and stars Rossif Sutherland, Kristin Kreuk, Mya Lowe, Aaron Douglas, Savonna Spracklin and Fritzy-Klevans Destine, as well as special guest stars James Cromwell, Stana Katic, Paula Patton and Noah Reid. The track list of the score album for Coralie Fargeat’s body horror movie The Substance has been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Raffertie (The Continental: From the World of John WickZone 414, White Dragon, One Way, Bull). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 20 by Waxwork Records. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. A vinyl edition will also be announced tomorrow. A first track has already been released as a digital single earlier this week. Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-VerseSteve Jobs, Enola Holmes, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.Birds of Prey) is returning to score the upcoming (currently untitled) sequel to the Black Mirror episode USS Callister. Netflix announced today that returning cast members include Cristin Milioti (as Nanette Cole), Milanka Brooks (as Elena Tulaska), Billy Magnussen (as Valdack), Osy Ikhile (as Nate Packer), Paul G. Raymond (as Kabir Dudani) and Jimmi Simpson (as James Walton). Pemberton is also scoring another (to be announced) episode of the next Black Mirror season.
