Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album for the musical drama Yellow Rose. The album features the original songs from the film written by Dale Watson & director Diane Paragas and performed by Eva Noblezada, Watson himself and Lea Salonga. Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Christopher H. Knight (Echo Park). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nerida Tyson-Chew (Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid, The Deep, Mr. Accident, FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue). WaterTower Music has released the cover version of Pink Floyd’s Eclipse from the trailer for Dennis Villeneuve’s upcoming film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune. The film’s composer Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception, Rain Man, Interstellar) has created a new version the Roger Waters-penned song for the first full trailer of the sci-fi epic. The album features the original music from the final part/last three episodes of the show, entitled Winter, composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Out of the Furnace, Locke, Last Chance Harvey, Leave No Trace, Peaky Blinders). The details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Rebecca have been revealed. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a DreamBlack Swan, The Fountain, Noah, Moon, High-Rise, Loving Vincent). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 23 by Lakeshore Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Rebecca is directed by Ben Wheatley and stars Armie Hammer, Lily James and Kristin Scott Thomas. The romantic thriller is based on Daphne Du Maurier’s gothic novel and follows a young newlywed who moves to her husband’s imposing estate, where she must contend with his sinister housekeeper and the haunting shadow of his late wife. Polydor Records has released the original song Hear My Voice from Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7. The track is written by the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton and performed by Celeste who also co-wrote the lyrics with Pemberton. The song is now available as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music services and will also be included on the movie’s official soundtrack album, which is set to be released on October 16. Tom DeLonge, former frontman of the punk rock band Blink-182, is set to compose the music for his feature directorial debut Monsters of California. The coming-of-age sci-fi adventure stars Richard Kind, Casper Van Dien, Arianne Zucker, Gabrielle Haugh, Camille Kostek, Jack Samson, Jared Scott and Jack Lancaster. The movie follows a teenager and his derelict friends on a quest for the meaning behind a series of mysterious, paranormal events in Southern California. DeLonge is also producing The Cartel, Striker Entertainment and To The Stars production with Stan Spry (Twelve Forever) and Eric Woods (Creepshow). Read the rest of this entry »
