The details of the eighth soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series WandaVision have been revealed. The albums feature the original score from the eighth episode (Previously On) of the show composed by Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Frozen, Ant-Man and the Wasp, The Hangover, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Muppets). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 5 by Marvel Music & Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. WandaVision is directed by Matt Shakman, created by Jac Schaeffer based on the Marvel Comics characters, and stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kat Dennings, Teyonah Parris, Kathryn Hahn and Randall Park. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi action adventure Chaos Walking. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, Ford v. Ferrari, A Quiet Place, The Wolverine) & Brandon Roberts (The Twilight Zone, Underwater). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 2, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is available to order here. Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross & Jon Batiste have received their first SCL Award in the Outstanding Original Score in a Studio Film category for their music for Pixar’s Soul at tonight’s 2nd Annual Society of Composers & Lyricists Awards. The other composers nominated in the category were James Newton Howard (News of the World), Ludwig Göransson (Tenet), Terence Blanchard (Da 5 Bloods) and Reznor & Ross were also nominated for their score for Mank. In the Outstanding Original Song for Visual Media category, Savan Kotecha, Fat Max Gsus & Rickard Goransson were honored for their song Husavik from the Netflix film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.
