Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Godzilla) has composed the original music for the upcoming French drama Lui. The film is written and directed by Guillaume Canet (Tell No One, Little White Lies) and stars Canet himself, alongside Mathieu Kassovitz, Laetitia Casta, Virginie Efira and Nathalie Baye. The movie centers on a composer at a crossroads who isolates himself at a house in Brittany, where he receives visits from many of the important people in his life, including his wife, his parents, his best friend and his mistress. The movie revolves around a young botanist who relocates to a small desert town to study an invasive plant species and ends up fighting for her survival after being kidnapped by an inexperienced drug mule when his plane crashes in the desert. The full details of the score album for the adventure comedy Free Guy have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (WandaVision, Frozen, Ant-Man, The Hangover, The Muppets, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
