Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series The American Experiment. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Dragonetti (The Internet’s Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz, All About Nina, Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror, Scouts Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America, We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists) .The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The American Experiment is directed by Brian Knappenberger, executive produced by Knappenberger himself, Sarah Huisenga, Tom Hanks & Gary Goetzman and traces how the ideals of America’s founders gave rise to a nation. Lakeshore Records has released the songs from the third episode (entitled Toronto) of the AMC original series The Vampire Lestat. The 2-track single, which features the previously released track Your Biggest Fan, as well as the original song The Loneliness written by the show’s composer Daniel Hart and performed by Sam Reid (as the title character) is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. New Soundtrack Album for NBC’s The Monkees’ Season 1 Announced
Rhino Records will release a new soundtrack album for the 1960s TV series The Monkees created by Bob Rafelson & Bert Schneider and starring David Jones, Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith & Peter Tork. The album features the songs from the show’s first season by the titular band, including 14 rare, broadcast-exclusive TV mixes created especially for the comedy and more than two dozen songs from the season. Tracks include the theme song written by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart, the Neil Diamond-penned Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow) and Gerry Goffin and Carole King’s Take a Giant Step. Made for TV: Official Soundtrack to Season 1 of The Monkees will be released digitally on August 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ – Book 3: Fire Soundtrack Album Announced
The details of the third soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender have been revealed. The album features the updated and re-recorded score from the second season of the show (Book 3: Fire) composed by Jeremy Zuckerman (The Legend of Korra, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, Lucky, Scream: The TV Series, Horse Girl) who has expanded his original compositions and employed a full orchestra for the new release. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on vinyl next Friday, July 17 by Republic Records Kids & Family.
