Premiering tonight in the U.S. is the British mini-series Prime Suspect: Tennison executive produced by Rebecca Eaton, Camilla Campbell & Robert Wulff-Cochrane and starring Stefanie Martini, Sam Reid, Blake Harrison, Jessica Gunning and Alun Armstrong. The show’s original music is composed by Carly Paradis (Line of Duty, True Justice). Prime Suspect 1973 is a based on Lynda La Plante’s Tennison novel is a prequel to the original Prime Suspect series and centers around a 22-year-old Jane at the start of her career in 1970s London. Silicon Valley is created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler & Dave Krinsky and stars Thomas Middleditch, T. J. ‘Crazyhead’ Soundtrack Released
MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the British comedy series Crazyhead. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Stuart Hancock (We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Atlantis, One Night in Turin). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Crazyhead is created by Howard Overman and stars Cara Theobold, Susan Wokoma, Arinze Kene, Lewis Reeves, Riann Steele, Luke Allen-Gale, Charlie Archer and Tony Curran. The comedy revolves around Bowling alley worker Amy and nonconformist Raquel who fight demons while also facing their inner demons as they navigate their early 20s.
‘DuckTales’ Reboot Main Titles Song Released
Walt Disney Records has released the main titles theme song of the reboot of the animated series DuckTales. The song is a cover of the title track from Disney’s classic series written by Mark C. Mueller. The new version is performed by singer/songwriter Felicia Barton and produced by music producer Michael ‘Smidi’ Smith and the show’s composer Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Free Birds, Money Monster). ‘Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street’ Seasons 1 & 2 Soundtrack to Be Released
Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s two seasons composed by Sasha Gordon (It Had to Be You, I Believe in Unicorns, God in Love). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 23 and will be available to download here. Amazon has previously released a digital EP featuring songs from the drama. Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street is created by David Anaxagoras and stars Sloane Morgan Siegel, Ashley Boettcher and Drew Justice.
Trevor Morris Scoring Netflix’s ‘Castlevania’
Trevor Morris is composing the music for the upcoming Netflix original series Castlevania. The animated show based on the Konami video games is developed by comic book writer Warren Ellis (Red) and features the voices of Richard Armitage, James Callis and Graham McTavish. The series follows a vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself. Ellis is also executive producing the project with Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar.
Fox’s ‘The Resident’ to Feature Music by Jon Ehrlich
Jon Ehrlich is set to score the upcoming Fox drama The Resident. The show is created by Amy Holden Jones (Black Box),Hayley Schore & Roshan Sethi and stars Matt Czuchry, Bruce Greenwood, Emily VanCamp, Manish Dayal, and Shaunette Wilson. The series revolves around a young doctor who begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine. Philip Noyce (Salt, Clear and Present Danger, Rabbit-Proof Fence) directed the pilot episode. Oly Obst (The Mick) and Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) are executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Fuqua Films production with Holden Jones.

‘The Putin Interviews’ Soundtrack Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for Showtime’s documentary The Putin Interviews have been announced. The album features the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Monk, Rome, Pollock, Appaloosa, Carnivale, Blackfish). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 30, 2017. A CD version is available for pre-order on Amazon. The Putin Interviews is directed by Oliver Stone who, alongside his longtime documentary producer Fernando Sulichin, interviewed the Russian president Vladimir Putin more than a dozen times over the course of two years, most recently in February following the U.S. presidential elections.
