Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Wednesday. The 7-track EP features the previously unreleased instrumental cover version of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters performed by the Nevermore Academy Orchestra, as well as The Cramps’ Goo Goo Muck as featured during Jenna Ortega’s dance scene in the fourth episode (check out the sequence below). Also included are all tracks from the previous “covers” EP, as well as Danny Elfman’s Emmy Award-nominated main titles theme, which is also featured on the original score album. The new soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, July 21 (click here to stream/download).

‘The Witcher’ Season 3 (Vol. 2) Soundtrack Album Details
The track list of the second soundtrack album for the third season of the Netflix original series The Witcher has been revealed. The album features the original score from Season 3 composed by Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, Straight Outta Compton), as well as the vocal songs Extraordinary Things, Enchanted Flowers & The Ride of the Witcher performed by Joey Batey and A Little Sacrifice by Freya Allen. Paolo Buonvino to Score Netflix’s ‘The Leopard’
Paolo Buonvino (Medici Fathers & Daughters, Romanzo Criminale, Fatima, Quiet Chaos) has been hired to score the upcoming Italian Netflix limited series The Leopard (Il Gattopardo). The show is developed by Richard Warlow (Ripper Street, The Serpent) based on the classic novel of the same name by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa and stars Deva Cassel, Kim Rossi Stewart, Saul Nanni, Benedetta Porcaroli, Francesco Colella, Paolo Calabresi, Astrid Meloni and Greta Esposito.
Soundtrack Album for Star+’s ‘Pancho Villa’ Released
Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the Star+ original series Pancho Villa. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Nacho Rettally (Lady of Steel, Till the Wedding Do Us Part). Jiménez, Juan Luis Medina, Armando Hernández, Leonardo Alonso, Gabriela Cartol, Marco Treviño, Dagoberto Gama and Andrés Montiel. The 10-part biographical drama chronicles the journey of Doroteo Arango “Pancho Villa,” from bandit to one of the central figures in the Mexican Revolution.
First Tracks from Paul Saunderson’s ‘Earth’ Score Released
Silva Screen Records has released the first tracks from the soundtrack for the BBC natural history series Earth. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the One Planet. Many Lives EP featuring five tracks written by the show’s composer Paul Saunderson (Three Identical Strangers, Trying, The More You Ignore Me, The Grand Duke of Corsica). Also listen to all tracks after the jump. As previously reported, a full soundtrack album is scheduled to come out on August 22. Earth is presented by Chris Packham, directed by Tom Hewitson and executive produced by Andrew Cohen & Rob Liddell.
Soundtrack Album for Peacock’s ‘Poker Face’ to Be Released
Cut Narrative will release a soundtrack album for the Peacock original series Poker Face. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Nathan Johnson (Knives Out, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Nightmare Alley, Brick, Looper, Don Jon) and Judson Crane. The soundtrack will be released this coming Friday, July 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Poker Face is created by Rian Johnson and stars Natasha Lyonne as a woman with an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying who hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.

Premiering on Tuesday, July 18, is the FX limited series Justified: Primeval developed by Dave Andron & Michael Dinner based on the novel City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit by Elmore Leonard and starring Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis, Boyd Holbrook, Vondie Curtis Hall, Adelaide Clemens and Marin Ireland. The show’s original music is composed by Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, A River Runs Through It, Miracle, 42, Warrior). ‘A Year on Planet Earth’ Soundtrack Album Released
Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album for the ITV nature documentary series A Year on Planet Earth. The album features the show’s original music composed by Jasha Klebe (Our Planet II, Planet Earth II, Animal, The Black Godfather, Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. A Year on Planet Earth is narrated by Steven Fry and looks at the ways in which all life is impacted by the Earth’s journey around the sun. The Plimsoll production examines how massive seasonal events affect the lives of individual animals as their stories develop across the year.
Kathryn Bostic Scoring Freeform’s ‘Praise Petey’
Kathryn Bostic (Clemency, Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am, Women of the Movement, Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It, Holiday Rush) is scoring the new Freeform original animated series Praise Petey. The show is created by Anna Drezen and features the voice talent of Annie Murphy, John Cho, Kiersey Clemons, Christine Baranski, Amy Hill and Stephen Root. The animated comedy follows a New York City “it”whose life comes crashing down around her, when she receives a mysterious gift from her father that gives her a new lease on life.
Rael Jones Scoring BBC’s ‘The Sixth Commandment’
Rael Jones (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, Harlots, My Cousin Rachel, Kids in Love) is the composer of the new BBC drama The Sixth Commandment. The show is written by Sarah Phelps (A Very British Scandal, Dublin Murders) and stars Timothy Spall, Anne Reid, Éanna Hardwicke, Annabel Scholey, Ben Bailey Smith, Sheila Hancock, Conor MacNeill, Adrian Rawlins and Amanda Root. The true crime drama explores the deaths of Peter Farquhar & Ann Moore-Martin in the village of Maids Moreton, Buckinghamshire, and the events that unfolded over the following years.
