Christopher Lennertz is set to reunite with director Tim Story on the upcoming romantic comedy sequel Think Like a Man Too. The film stars La La Anthony, Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence J, Jenifer Lewis, Romany Malco, Gary Owen and Gabrielle Union who reprise their roles from the original Think Like a Man film and follows the couples on a trip to Las Vegas for a wedding. They are joined by new cast members Adam Brody, Wendi McLendon-Covey and David Walton. Keith Merryman & David A. Newman (Friends with Benefits) who penned the original film are returning to write the sequel’s script based on Steve Harvey’s book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.

R.J. Cutler’s ‘If I Stay’ to Feature Music by Heitor Pereira
Heitor Pereira has been tapped to compose the music for the upcoming supernatural drama If I Stay. The film based on the 2009 young-adult novel by Gayle Forman is directed by R.J. Cutler (The September Issue, Nashville) and is set to star Chloe Moretz, Mireille Enos and Jamie Blackley. The movie centers on a teenager who has an out-of-body experience following a car accident which puts her in a coma and kills the rest of her family. Shauna Cross (Whip It, What to Expect When You’re Expecting) is adapting the novel for the screen. Denise DiNovi (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhand) and Alison Greenspan (Monte Carlo, Ramona and Beezus) are producing the MGM and Summit Entertainment co-production for DiNovi Pictures.
Michael Brook to Score ‘Cry/Fly’
Michael Brook has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Cry/Fly. The film marks the English language debut of director Claudia Llosa (The Milk of Sorrow) and stars Jennifer Connelly, Cillian Murphy and Melanie Laurent. The movie is set in Minnesota and northern Canada over two time periods and follows a mother who gets separated from her sick daughter and falcon-keeper son. Two decades later, the son is persuaded by a journalist to embark on a search for his now-famous mother. Llosa has also written the screenplay and Mark Johnson (Rain Man, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Notebook) is producing the America/Spanish co-production with Jose Maria Morales (XXY) and Ibon Cormenzana (Blancanieves, Blackthorn).
BT Scoring John Herzfeld’s ‘Reach Me’
BT has signed on to score the upcoming comedy drama Reach Me. The film is directed by John Herzfeld (2 Days in the Valley, 15 Minutes) and stars Sylvester Stallone, Kyra Sedgwick, Tom Berenger, Kevin Connolly, Thomas Jane, Kelsey Grammer, Nelly, Danny Aiello, Terry Crews, David O’Hara, Omari Hardwick, Lauren Cohan, Elizabeth Henstridge, Cary Elwes and Ryan Kwanten. The movie follows a group of characters whose lives intertwine and eventually collide as a result of a self-published motivational book and its anonymous author. Rebekah Chaney is producing the Seraphim Films and Paradox Entertainment production with Cassian Elwes (Lee Daniels’ The Butler, The Paperboy).
Laurent Eyquem to Score ‘Momentum’
Laurent Eyquem is set to score the upcoming action thriller Momentum. The film marks the directorial debut of Stephen Campanelli who has been Clint Eastwood’s camera operator since The Bridges of Madison County and stars Olga Kurylenko, Vincent Cassel and Shea Whigham. The movie follows a thief who is trying to avoid both the law and a deadly gang of assassins. Adam Marcus & Debra Sullivan (Texas Chainsaw 3D) have written the screenplay. Anton Ernst who has previously collaborated with Eyquem on last year’s South African Oscar submission Little One is producing the film for Thaba Media and Azari Media. Momentum is set to start shooting in January against the backdrop of Cape Town.
Edward Shearmur to Score ‘Before I Go to Sleep’
Edward Shearmur has been hired to score the upcoming mystery thriller Before I Go to Sleep. The film is written and directed by Rowan Joffe (Brighton Rock, screenwriter of The American and 28 Weeks Later) and stars Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Mark Strong and Anne-Marie Duff. The movie is based on the best-selling novel by S.J. Watson of the same title and follows a woman with amnesia who wakes every day with no knowledge of who she is as a result a traumatic accident in her past and must reconstruct her memories from a journal she keeps. Ridley Scott & Liza Marshall (Life in a Day) and Mark Gill (Law Abiding Citzen, Olympus Has Fallen) are producing the Scott Free and Millennium Films production. Shearmur has previously scored the thrillers Righteous Kill and 88 Minutes for Millennium.
Heitor Pereira to Score ‘Minions’ Movie
Heitor Pereira is set to score Universal Pictures’ & Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming animated feature Minions. The film is a spin-off of the hit animated franchise Despicable Me and has been described as an origin story, which establishes that Minions have existed since the beginning of time, in service of history’s most ambitiously evil villains. Sandra Bullock will voice Scarlet Overkill, a stylish super-villain who is bent on world domination and Jon Hamm will lend his voice to her husband, the inventor Herb Overkill. Pierre Coffin who directed both Despicable Me and its sequel is directing the project with Kyle Balda (The Lorax) and Brian Lynch (Puss in Boots, Hop) has written the screenplay.
Clint Mansell to Score ‘The Imitation Game’
Clint Mansell is attached to score the upcoming indie drama The Imitation Game. The film is directed by Morten Tyldum (Headhunters, Buddy) and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as a British mathematician and cryptographer who helped crack the German enigma code during the final years of World War II, helping the Allies to victory. Keira Knightley, Mark Strong, Matthew Goode and Charles Dance are co-starring. Graham Moore has written the screenplay based on the book Alan Turing: The Enigma. Teddy Schwarzman (All Is Lost, Broken City) is producing the Black Bear Pictures and Ampersand Pictures production with Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky.
Nathan Furst Scoring ‘Need for Speed’
Nathan Furst is currently scoring the upcoming racing action movie Need for Speed. The film directed by Scott Waugh is based on the Electronic Arts video game franchise and follows an underground racecar driver who owns a garage that modifies expensive cars to make them faster for racing and is framed and sent to prison when his best friend is murdered during a race. The movie stars Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Michael Keaton, Imogen Poots, Kid Cudi, Dakota Johnson, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malik and Harrison Gilbertson. George Gatins has written the screenplay based on an original story he developed with John Gatins (Flight, Real Steel) who is also producing the DreamWorks Pictures production with Patrick O’Brien and Mark Sourian.
Neil Davidge to Score ‘Good People’
Neil Davidge is currently scoring the upcoming crime thriller Good People. The film marks the English language directing debut of Henrik Ruben Genz (Terribly Happy) and stars James Franco, Kate Hudson, Omar Sy, Sam Spruell and Tom Wilkinson. The movie centers on an American couple living in London who fall into severe debt renovating her family’s home and find a stack of cash in their deceased neighbor’s house. Kelly Masterson (Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead, Snowpiercer), Paul Grellong and Christina Hodson wrote the script based on a novel by Marcus Sakey. Thomas Gammeltoft, Ben Forkner, Tobey Maguire, Eric Kranzler, Ed Cathell (The Paperboy) and Mark Gill (Olympus Has Fallen, Law Abiding Citizen) are producing the Millennium Films production.
