The film is written and directed by Brian Horiuchi and stars Frank Langella, Gena Rowlands, Rosario Dawson, Josh Hartnett, Penn Badgley, Teresa Palmer, Alexis Bledel and Hill Harper. The movie follows three couples dealing with the same reality-shaking event, which threatens to tear them apart. Molly Hassell (Edmond), Jennifer Levine (Delirious), Michael Benaroya (Lawless, Margin Call, The Words) and David Dickson are producing the Benaroya Pictures production.

‘Amazonia’ to Feature Music by Bruno Coulais
Bruno Coulais has scored the 3D documentary Amazonia. The film is directed by Thierry Ragobert and centers on a domesticated capuchin monkey that is released into the wild and suddenly finds itself fighting for survival in the wilds of the Amazon jungle. Fabiano Gullane & Caio Gullane (The Year My Parents Went On Vacation), Laurent Baujard and Stéphane Millièr are producing the Biloba Films and Gullane production. Coulais has previously scored Ragobert’s 2006 documentary The White Planet. The French/Brazilian co-production just premiered at the Venice Film Festival and is also being shown at the Toronto Film Festival. A theatrical release in France is set for November 27, 2013.
Nick Urata Scoring ‘The Last of Robin Hood’
Nick Urata has composed the score for the biographical drama The Last of Robin Hood. The film is written and directed by Richard Glatzer & Wash Westmoreland and stars Kevin Kline, Dakota Fanning and Susan Sarandon. The movie chronicles swashbuckling Hollywood star and notorious ladies man Errol Flynn’s final years and high-flying, May-December romance with underage starlet Beverly Aadland. Bryan Batt, Max Casella, Jason Davis, Matt Kane, Patrick St. Esprit, Ric Reitz and Justina Machado are co-starring. Christine Vachon & Pamela Koffler (Boys Don’t Cry, One Hour Photo), Declan Baldwin and Maggie Malina are producing the A+E Films and Killer Films production.
Michael Wandmacher to Score ABC’s ‘The Goldbergs’
Michael Wandmacher is the composer of the upcoming ABC comedy The Goldbergs. The show is created by Adam F. Goldberg and stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jerr Garlin, George Segal, Hayley Orrantia, Sean Giambrone and Troy Gentile. The series is set in the 80s and centers on an in-your-face mother and hot-tempered father who love their three eccentric kids so much, they can’t bear to see them grow up. Goldberg is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television and Happy Madison production with Doug Robinson (Rules of Engagement). Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) has directed the pilot episode. Wandmacher has previously scored the Goldberg-created Fox comedy Breaking In.
Ramin Djawadi to Score Doug Liman’s ‘Edge of Tomorrow’
Ramin Djawadi has been tapped to score the upcoming sci-fi action thriller Edge of Tomorrow. The film is directed by Doug Liman and stars Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, Kick Gurry, Dragomir Mrsic, Charlotte Riley, Jonas Armstrong and Franz Drameh. The movie based on the novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka is set in the near future when an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault and follows an officer who finds himself reliving his last day over and over after being killed. D.W. Harper, Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth (Fair Game) and Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher, The Usual Suspects) have adapted the material for the screen.
The de Luca Brothers Scoring ‘Two Night Stand’
The de Luca Brothers have recently scored the upcoming romantic comedy Two Night Stand. The film is directed by Max Nichols and stars Miles Teller, Analeigh Tipton, Jessica Szohr, Kid Cudi and Leven Rambin. The movie centers on a pair of twentysomething strangers who are trapped together in an apartment after a Manhattan blizzard forces them to extend a regrettable one-night stand. Mark Hammer has written the script, which made the 2011 Black List. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Gangster Squad) and Beau Flynn (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Journey to the Center of the Earth) are producing the project with Sam Englebardt & William D. Johnson (Byzantium, Zombieland) for Demarest Films.
Dan Marocco Scoring Fox’s ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’
Dan Marocco is currently scoring the upcoming Fox comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The show is created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation) and stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz and Chelsea Peretti. The show centers around a diverse group of detectives at a New York precinct. The Universal Television production is executive produced by Goor, Schur and David Miner (30 Rock). Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) have directed the pilot episode. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to premiere on September 17, 2013 and will air every Tuesday night on Fox.
Alexandre Desplat to Score ‘Godzilla’ Reboot
Legendary Pictures has announced that Alexandre Desplat has been tapped to score the upcoming Godzilla reboot. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters) and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, David Strathairn, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, Richard T. Jones and Ken Watanabe.The movie is said to tell the origin story of Godzilla in contemporary times and “pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence”. Max Borenstein (Seventh Son) and Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) have written the screenplay based on a story by Borenstein and Dave Callaham (The Expendables).
Alec Puro to Score ‘The One I Love’
Alec Puro has signed on to score the upcoming indie drama The One I Love. The film is directed by Charlie McDowell and stars Elisabeth Moss and Mark Duplass as a young couple with marital problems. Ted Danson is playing their therapist. Justin Lader has written the screenplay. Mel Eslyn (co-producer of My Sister’s Sister and Touchy Feely) is producing the project and Mark Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home) is executive producing. The One I Love is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2014.
Raf Keunen Scoring Michael Roskam’s ‘Animal Rescue’
Raf Keunen is reteaming with director Michael R. Roskam to score the upcoming crime thriller Animal Rescue. The film stars Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Matthias Schoenaerts, James Gandolfini and John Ortiz. The movie is based on a short story by Dennis Lehane (Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone, Shutter Island) and follows a lonely Boston bartender who rescues a puppy from a garbage can and becomes the target of the dog’s abusive and mentally unstable former owner. Lehane has also written the screenplay and Peter Chernin & Dylan Clark (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Oblivion) are producing the project for Chernin Entertainment, alongside Mike Larocca. Keunen has previously collaborated with Roskam on his previous directorial effort Bullhead.
