The family comedy centers on two siblings who try to prove that Santa is real by catching him on camera. When they accidentally cause his sleigh to crash in Chicago, they have to help get Christmas back on track before it’s ruined. The film is directed by Mark Steven Johnson (Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Simon Birch) and stars Travis Fimmel, Forest Whitaker, William Fichtner and Rachael Taylor. The movie is set in 1972 and tells the true story of the biggest bank heist in U.S. history when a group of thieves from Youngstown, Ohio, attempted to steal $30 million from President Richard Nixon’s secret fund.

Matthew Herbert has recently recorded his score for the upcoming drama Gloria Bell. Alexandre Desplat has been hired to score the upcoming animated sequel The Secret Life of Pets 2. The film is directed by Chris Renaud (The Lorax), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and features the voices of Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan and Dana Carvey who will reprise their characters from the first movie. They are joined by Harrison Ford, Patton Oswalt, Tiffany Hadish, Nick Kroll and Pete Holmes.

The film is directed by Rodman Slender (Idle Hands, Leprechaun 2) and stars Jake Cannavale, Angelique Rivera, Sarah Yarkin, Jim Titus, Patrick Fabian, Ty Headlee, Kristin Daniel and Kym Jackson. The movie follows two zombie virus-infected high school seniors as they run from a psychic sent by the government to track them down, and search for a cure for their affliction.
Lisbeth Scott to Score Stephanie Turner’s ‘Justine’
Lisbeth Scott is currently scoring the upcoming indie drama Justine. The film is written and directed by Stephanie Turner who also stars in the movie as the title character, alongside Darby Stanchfield, Glynn Turman, Josh Stamberg, Daisy Prescott, Bridget Kallal and Ravi Cabot-Conyers. The movie revolves around a single mom who is forced to move in with her father-in-law after the death of her husband and takes a job as a caretaker to a young girl, in what turns out to be a racist household. Turner is also producing the project with Robert Luketic (Legally Blonde, 21, The Ugly Truth) and Angie Edgar.

Robi Botos is composing the original score for the upcoming comedy The Weekend. The film is written and directed by Stella Meghie (Everything, Everything) and stars Sasheer Zamata, Tone Bell, DeWanda Wise, Kym Whitley and Y’Lan Noel. The movie centers on an acerbic comedian who becomes romantically entangled with her ex, his new girlfriend, and another guest during a weekend getaway. Meghie is also producing the project with Stephanie Allain (Dear White People, Hustle & Flow) & Mel Jones (Burning Sands) for Homegrown Pictures and Sarah Lazow & James Gibb for Marada Pictures.
