Frederik Wiedmann is reuniting with director Johnny Martin on the upcoming thriller Alone. The film starring Donald Sutherland, Tyler Posey, Summer Spiro and Robert Ri’chard follos a man who who barricades himself inside his apartment when his complex is overrun by infected screamers and discovers a girl across his courtyard who is also trapped inside her house and must find a way out for both of them. Matt Naylor wrote the screenplay. Martin is also producing the project with Rabih Aridi and Anne Jordan.

Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, See You Yesterday) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix original movie All Day and a Night. The film is written and directed by Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther) and stars Ashton Sanders, Jeffrey Wright, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Regina Taylor, Kelly Jenrette, Isaiah John, Shakira Ja-nai Paye and Andrea Lynn Ellsworth. The drama follows a young criminal after his arrival in prison as he looks back on the days preceding his arrest and the circumstances of his childhood to find clues to his way forward in life and his survival. Dominic Lewis Scoring Peter Segal’s ‘My Spy’
Dominic Lewis has composed the original score for the upcoming action comedy My Spy. The film is directed by Peter Segal (Get Smart, Anger Management, Second Act) and stars Dave Bautista, Kristen Schaal, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Chloe Coleman and Ken Jeong. The movie follows a hardened CIA operative who has been demoted and finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl where he has been sent undercover begrudgingly to surveil her family. Jon & Erich Hoeber (Red, The Meg) wrote the screenplay.
John Debney Scoring Nini Bull Robsahm’s ‘Lake of Death’
John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf, Iron Man 2, Hocus Pocus, Bruce Almighty) has composed the original music for the upcoming Norwegian horror thriller Lake of Death (De dødes tjern). The film is written and directed by Nini Bull Robsahm and stars Iben Akerlie, Jonathan Harboe, Sophia Lie, Jakob Schøyen Andersen and Elias Munk. The movie is inspired by André Bjerke’s 1942 novel of the same name and follows a small group of friends who battle to survive in the middle of Norway’s forests and fjords.
Michael Giacchino to Score Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’
Michael Giacchino confirmed at tonight’s Settling the Score concert at Royal Albert Hall in London that he will be scoring the upcoming superhero movie The Batman. The film is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson in the title role, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon. Dylan Clark (Oblivion, Bird Box) is producing the project. Giacchino has previously collaborated with Reeves on his last four features Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, War for the Planet of the Apes, Cloverfield and Let Me In.

Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Hangover, The Muppets) is reuniting with director Shawn Levy on the upcoming sci-fi action comedy Free Guy. The film starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar & Taika Waititi follows a bank teller who realizes he’s living in a video game and tries to prevent the makers of the game from shutting down his world. Matt Lieberman (The Addams Family, The Christmas Chronicles) wrote the screenplay with Zak Penn (Ready Player One, The Incredible Hulk). Levy & Reynolds are also producing the project with Greg Berlanti & Sarah Schechter (The Flash, Arrow, Riverdale) and Adam Kolbrenner (Prisoners).

Abel Korzeniowski has been hired to score the upcoming British drama Ironbark. The film is directed by Dominic Cooke (On Chesil Beach) and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel Brosnahan, Jessie Buckley, Merab Ninidze, Angus Wright and Kirill Pirogov. The movie tells the true story of Greville Wynne, a British businessman who helped the CIA penetrate the Soviet nuclear program during the Cold War. Tom O’Connor (The Hitman’s Bodyguard) wrote the screenplay. 42’s Ben Pugh & Rory Aitken (Welcome to the Punch, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) are producing the project with Adam Ackland (Patrick Melrose).
