Composers Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, The Gift, Enemy, Ozark, American Gods) are reuniting with director Antonio Campos on the upcoming gothic thriller The Devil All the Time. The film stars Tom Holland, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, Eliza Scanlen, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Harry Melling and Sebastian Stan. The movie is based on Donald Ray Pollock’s 2011 novel and follows a group of characters, including a serial killer couple, a faith-testing preacher, and a corrupt local sheriff, from the end of World War II to the 1960s in rural southern Ohio and West Virginia.

Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me) is set to reteam with director Justin Baldoni on the upcoming drama Clouds. The film stars Fin Argus, Sabrina Carpenter, Madison Iseman, Neve Campbell and Thomas Everett Scott. The movie is based on the book Fly a Little Higher by Laura Sobiec and follows a 17-year-old who is diagnosed a second time with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric bone cancer and in the months leading up to his death, he finds the courage to date and fall in love with his dream girl.
Trevor Gureckis to Score Neil Burger’s ‘Voyagers’
Trevor Gureckis (The Goldfinch, Bloodline, Wetlands) has been hired to score the upcoming sci-fi thriller Voyagers. The film is written and directed by Neil Burger (The Illusionist, Divergent, The Upside) and stars Tye Sherdian, Lily-Rose Depp, Fionn Whitehead, Colin Farrell, Chanté Adams, Viveik Kalra, Quintessa Swindell, Archie Madekwe and Archie Renaux. The movie takes place in the near future, as an odyssey of thirty young men and women on a multi-generational deep space mission in search of a new home descends into madness.
Steve Mazzaro Scoring Reed Morano’s ‘The Rhythm Section’
Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, Bullet to the Head, Ice Box) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller The Rhythm Section. Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Inception, Gladiator) serves as the project’s executive music producer. The movie is directed by Reed Morano (The Handmaid’s Tale, I Think We’re Alone Now) and stars Blake Lively, Jude Law, Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Mays and Raza Jaffrey. The film is based on the novel by Mark Burnell and follows an ordinary woman on a path of self-destruction after her family is tragically killed in a plane crash and when she discovers that the crash was not an accident.

Terence Blanchard has recently recorded his score for the upcoming Netflix original movie Da 5 Bloods. The film stars Delroy Lindo, Clarke Peters, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Norm Lewis, Chadwick Boseman, Jonathan Majors, Paul Walter Hauser, Jean Reno, Mélanie Thierry and Jasper Pääkkönen. The drama tells the story of four African American vets who return to Vietnam to search for the remains of their fallen squad leader and the promise of buried treasure while confronted by the lasting ravages of the immorality of the Vietnam War.

John Paesano (Daredevil, The Maze Runner, The Defenders, The Star) has been hired to score the upcoming biographical drama Tesla. The film is written and directed by Michael Almereyda (Marjorie Prime, Experimenter) and stars Ethan Hawke, Eve Hewson, Kyle MacLachlan and Jim Gaffigan. The movie chronicles the life and times of famed inventor Nikola Tesla, including his creation of the AC motor and his fierce rivalry with Thomas Edison. Uri Singer & Isen Robbins (Blue Caprice) are producing the project for Passage Pictures, alongside Christa Campbell (Criminal, Leatherface) & Lati Grobman (Righteous Kill, Intruders) for Campbell Grobman Films.

The Newton Brothers (The Haunting of Hill House, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Life of Crime, Oculus) have composed the original score for the action thriller Line of Duty. The film is directed by Steven C. Miller (Marauders, Silent Night) and stars Aaron Eckhart, Ben McKenzie, Giancarlo Esposito, Jessica Lu, Courtney Eaton and Dina Meyer. The movie follows a disgraced cop who finds himself in a race against time to find a kidnap victim whose abductor he accidentally killed. Jeremy Drysdale wrote the screenplay.
Anton Ernst’s & Tati Golykh’s ‘Finding Jack’ to Feature Original Score by Laurent Eyquem & Original Song by Diane Warren
Laurent Eyquem (Copperhead, Winnie Mandela, Nostalgia, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage) is set to score the upcoming action drama Finding Jack. The film directed by Anton Ernst & Tati Golykh is based on Gareth Crocker’s novel of the same title about the existence and abandonment of more than 10,000 military dogs at the end of the Vietnam War. Academy Award nominee Diane Warren has composed an original song for the project. James Dean will (through CGI technology) posthumously star in the film. Ernst & Golykh are also producing the project for Magic City Films, alongside Donald A. Barton for Artistry Media Group.

Dickon Hinchliffe has recently scored the upcoming British comedy drama Misbehaviour. The film is directed by Philippa Lowthorpe (Swallows and Amazons) and stars Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jessie Buckley, Suki Waterhouse, Greg Kinnear, Lesley Manville, Keeley Hawes, Rhys Ifans and Phyllis Logan. The movie is based on the true story of the 1970 Miss World contest and its disruption by the newly founded Women’s Liberation Movement. Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eddie the Eagle, Rocketman) is composing the original music for the upcoming film adaptation of the classic TV series Fantasy Island. The film is directed by Jeff Wadlow (Cry Wolf, Never Back Down) and stars Michael Pena as Mr. Roarke, alongside Lucy Hale, Jimmy O. Yang, Portia Doubelday, Maggie Q, Ryan Hansen, Michael Rooker, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Austin Stowell. No plot details have been announced yet for the movie, which is being described as a supernatural horror take of the series, which premiered between 1977 and 1983 on ABC.
