The film is directed by Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void) and follows the concept of the original 2011 Life in a Day movie. The crowdsourced documentary is compiled from 15,000 hours of footage captured on July 25, 2020 and submitted from 192 countries. Jack Arbuthnott (The Aftermath, Lords of Chaos) and Tim Partridge are producing the project. Ridley Scott serves as an executive producer.
Marius de Vries to Serve as Executive Music Producer & Composer on Sian Heder’s ‘Coda’
Marius de Vries is the executive music producer of the upcoming drama Coda. He has also composed the original score for the film written and directed by Sian Heder (Tallulah, Little America) and starring Emilia Jones, Eugenio Derbez, Troy Kotsur, Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Daniel Durant and Marlee Matlin. The movie tells the story of the only hearing member of a deaf family as she joins her high school’s choir club and dinds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing. The film starring Jacqueline Byers, Virginia Madsen, Ben Cross, Colin Salmon, Christian Navarro and Nicholas Ralph revolves around a nun studying at a school to master the ritual of exorcism as she confronts a demonic force that infests her school and has mysterious ties to her past. Robert Zappia (5ive Days to Midnight) wrote the screenplay.

Labrinth has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Malcolm & Marie. The drama is written and directed by Sam Levinson (Assassination Nation) and stars John David Washington and Zendaya. The movie follows a filmmaker and his girlfriend Marie who return home from a movie premiere and await his film’s critical response, when the evening takes a turn as revelations about their relationship surface, testing the couple’s love. The director, Washington and Zendaya are also producing the project with Ashley Levinson (Pieces of a Woman) and Kevin Turen (Waves, Arbitrage).

Director Nicolas Bedos and composer Anne-Sophie Versnaeyen are reuniting to co-score the upcoming French spy comedy OSS 117: Red Alert in Black Africa (OSS 117 – Alerte Rouge en Afrique Noire). The film starring Jean Dujardin, Pierre Niney and Fatou N’Diaye is the third installment in the OSS 117 series created by Michel Hazanavicius and follows the titular French secret agent who has been sent on a mission to Africa to help out a president under attack from rebels, covertly led by his young wife. Eric Altmayer & Nicolas Altmayer (By the Grace of God, In the House, Young & Beautiful) are producing the project for Mandarin Production.
Brian Tyler & Breton Vivian Scoring D.J. Caruso’s ‘Redeeming Love’
Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Now You See Me) & Breton Vivian (Five Feet Apart, Yellowstone) have teamed up to score the upcoming romantic drama Redeeming Love. The film is directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, I Am Number Four) and stars Logan Marshall-Green, Abigail Cowen, Nina Dobrev, Famke Janssen, Tom Lewis and Eric Dane. The movie based on the novel of the same title by Francine Rivers (who also wrote the screenplay) is set against the romantic backdrop of the California Gold Rush of 1850 and centers on a woman who was sold into prostitution as a child and has survived through hatred and self-loathing, when she meets a man and discovers there is no brokenness that love can’t heal.
