The movie follows two exes who find themselves on a shared mission to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the same mistake they once made. ‘Tell It Like a Woman’ to Feature Original Song ‘Applause’ by Diane Warren & Sofia Carson
Deadline is reporting that Academy Award-nominated songwriter Diane Warren has written an original song for the upcoming drama Tell It Like a Woman. The track, entitled Applause, is performed by Sofia Carson and will be released as a digital single later this year by Hollywood Records. The film is comprised of seven segments directed by female filmmakers including Catherine Hardwicke (who is also directing the music video for Applause), actress Taraji P. Henson, Mipo O, Leena Yadav, Maria Sole Tognazzi and Lucia Puenzo. Cast members include Jennifer Hudson, Cara Delevingne, Pauletta Washington, Marcia Gay Harden, Eva Longoria, Margherita Buy, Leonor Varela, Anne Watanabe and Jacqueline Fernandez.
