Platoon will release the official soundtrack album for the spy action comedy thriller Argylle. The album features the film’s original score composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam, His Dark Materials, The Wheel of Time, The LEGO Batman Movie). Also included is the original song Electric Energy co-written by Balfe and performed by Ariana DeBose, Boy George & Nile Rodgers (to be released as a digital single tomorrow), as well as a second song performed by DeBose. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, February 2 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to pre-order). The 5-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Milad Movahedi (Invasion, Botox). Critical Zone is written and directed by Ali Ahmadzadeh and stars Amir Pousti, Shirin Abedinirad, Alireza Keymanesh, Maryam Sadeghiyan, Saghar Saharkhiz and Mina Hasanlou. The movie is set in the underworld of Tehran and follows a man driving through the city’s underworld with his dog, dealing drugs and healing troubled souls.
Live Version of Stan Walker’s Original Song ‘I Am’ from ‘Origin’ Released
Sony Music Entertainment has released a new live version of the original song I Am by Stan Walker from Ava DuVernay’s drama Origin. The track co-written (with Vince Harder, Te Kanapu Anasta & Michael Fatkin) and performed by Walker is now available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A full soundtrack album featuring Kris Bowers’ original score from the movie has just been released last Friday by Lakeshore Records.
