The film’s original score is composed by Ramin Djawadi (Games of Thrones, Iron Man, Westworld, Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time). Jonny Greenwood (Phantom Thread, There Will Be Blood, Inherent Vice, The Master, The Power of the Dog, You Were Never Really Here) has composed the film’s original music. Opening semi-wide in around 700 Cinemark and select independent theaters today before premiering on Netflix next Friday, November 12 is the action comedy Red Notice written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber ands tarring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopoulos. The film’s original music is composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Pain & Gain, Deepwater Horizon, Skyscraper, Ender’s Game. Lone Survivor). Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on November 12. Opening in select theaters today and on VOD today is the indie comedy Mark, Mary & Some Other People written and directed by Hannah Marks and starring Ben Rosenfield and Hayley Law. Patrick Stump (Gnome Alone, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Changeland) of Fall Out Boy has composed the original score, which also features an original song by Green Day. The movie, which follows two newlyweds who reluctantly decide to give ethical non-monogamy a try as their lives get increasingly complicated, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is being released by Vertical Entertainment.
Also opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the crime thriller Ida Red written and directed by John Swab and starring Josh Hartnett, Melissa Leo, Frank Grillo, Sofia Hublitz,Deborah Ann Woll, Beau Knapp, William Forsythe, Mark Boone Junior and George Carroll. The film’s original music is composed by David Sardy (21, Zombieland, End of Watch, Bright, Premium Rush, Monster Trucks, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance). Another movie opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the action thriller Dangerous directed by David Hackl and starring Scott Eastwood, Mel Gibson, Kevin Durand, Famke Janssen nd Tyrese Gibson. Todd Bryanton (The Tall Man, The Humanity Bureau, Endless, The Recall) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie, which revolves around a reformed sociopath who fights to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death, is being distributed by Lionsgate.
Also opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the action thriller One Shot directed by James Nunn and starring Scott Adkins, Ashley Greene Khoury and Ryan Phillippe. The film’s original music is composed by Austin Wintory (Journey, Captain Abu Raed, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, A Little Help). No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a Navy SEAL team leader and a CIA analyst who must retrieve a detainee from the manager of a secret compound while fending off an assault by insurgents to prevent a terrorist attack on U.S. soil, is being released by Screen Media Films.
Opening in select U.S. theaters and on VOD today is the drama Gaza mon amour written and directed by Arab Nasser & Tarzan Nasser and starring Salim Dau, Hiam Abbas, Maisa Abd Elhadi and George Iskander. Andre Matthias (The Drummer, Four Assassins, Control, Centaur) has composed the film’s original music. Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score following the movie’s premiere at last year’s Venice and Toronto Film Festivals.
