Patrick Stump (Gnome Alone, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Changeland) of Fall Out Boy has composed the original score, which also features an original song by Green Day. The movie, which follows two newlyweds who reluctantly decide to give ethical non-monogamy a try as their lives get increasingly complicated, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is being released by Vertical Entertainment.
Also opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the crime thriller Ida Red written and directed by John Swab and starring Josh Hartnett, Melissa Leo, Frank Grillo, Sofia Hublitz,Deborah Ann Woll, Beau Knapp, William Forsythe, Mark Boone Junior and George Carroll. The movie, which revolves around a reformed sociopath who fights to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death, is being distributed by Lionsgate.
Also opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the action thriller One Shot directed by James Nunn and starring Scott Adkins, Ashley Greene Khoury and Ryan Phillippe. The film’s original music is composed by Austin Wintory (Journey, Captain Abu Raed, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, A Little Help). No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a Navy SEAL team leader and a CIA analyst who must retrieve a detainee from the manager of a secret compound while fending off an assault by insurgents to prevent a terrorist attack on U.S. soil, is being released by Screen Media Films.
