Manners McDade has released a soundtrack album for the British documentary Strike: An Uncivil War. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tim Atack (The Invention of LyingThe Mystery of D.B. Cooper, Lockerbie, Don’t Look Down, Wham!Reuniting the Rubins). Strike: An Uncivil War is directed by Daniel Gordon and tells the story of the Battle of Orgreave, the most violent confrontation between miners and police during the 1984/85 Miners’ Strike in Great Britain, the most divisive and violent industrial dispute that Britain has ever witnessed. The movie premiered at this year’s Sheffield DocFest and was released in select UK theaters this past June.
