Tuomas Kantelinen (Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan, The Legend of Hercules, The Adventurers, Mindhunters, Iron Sky: The Coming Race) has composed the original music for the upcoming biographical drama Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend. The film is written and directed by Bobby Moresco (Crash, Bent) and stars Frank Grillo, Mira Sorvino, Gabriel Byrne, Romano Reggiani, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Matteo Leoni and Giovanni Antonacci. The movie is based on a book written by Ferruccio Lamborghini’s son, Tonino, and chronicles the life of the iconic entrepreneur from Emilia: from the production of tractors at the beginning of his career up to the design and construction of the legendary Lamborghini cars that have outlined his legend. Andrea Iervolino & Monika Bacardi (To the Bone, Black Butterfly) are producing the project with Danielle Maloni (Dakota) and Allen Dam. Lamborghini will be released in select U.S. theaters on November 18 by Lionsgate.
Kantelinen’s other recent projects also include Max Seeck’s & Joonas Pajunen’s Finnish horror movie The Knocking (Koputus), which just premiered earlier this month at the 2022 Sitges Festival.
