Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the biographical drama Elvis directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, Olivia DeJonge, Richard Roxburgh, Luke Bracey, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and David Wenham. The film’s original score is composed by Elliott Wheeler (The Get Down, Every Day) who also serves as the project’s executive music producer. Eldad Guetta (The Wave) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a woman who is given the chance to save her boyfriend after he dies in an accident when she discovers that their mixtape can transport her back in time, is being released by The Avenue.
