Lionsgate Records has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Acapulco. The album features a selection of songs from the first season of the show, including Spanish-language cover versions of such tracks as Daryl Hall’s & John Oates’ You Make My Dreams, Scorpions’ Rock You Like a Hurricane, Twisted Sisters’ We’re Not Gonna Take It, Katrina and the Waves’s Walking on Sunshine & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also listen to audio samples. Acapulco is created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros & Jason Shuman and stars Eugenio Derbez Enrique Arrizon, Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Chord Overstreet, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Regina Orozco, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrián and Carlos Corona. The comedy inspired by the feature How to Be a Latin Lover is set in 1984 and tells the story of a 20-something man whose dream comes true when he gets the job of a lifetime as a cabana boy at the hottest resort in Acapulco and soon realizes the job is far more complicated than he ever imagined. The series is premiering today exclusively on Apple TV+.
