Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, July 5, is the British series The Beast Must Die developed by Gaby Chiappe based on the novel of the same title by Nicholas Blake and starring Jared Harris, Cush Jumbo OBE, Nathaniel Parker, Billy Howle and Geraldine James. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, Disobedience, Temple, The Cave, Noughts + Crosses). Accidental Editions has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past May when the drama premiered in the UK on BritBox. Premiering on Wednesday, July 7, is the Disney+ original series Monsters at Work developed by Bobs Gannaway based on Pixar’s feature Monsters, Inc. and starring Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Jennifer Tilly, John Ratzenberger, Bonnie Hunt, Ben Feldman, Henry Winkler, Mindy Kalling, Lucas Neff and Alanna Ubac. Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, DuckTales, Free Birds, Money Monster) is composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Thursday, July 8, is the Netflix anime series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness directed by Eiichiro Hasumi, produced and supervised by Hiroyuki Kobayashi and starring Nick Apostolides, Stephanie Panisello, Ray Chase, Jona Xiao, Billy Kametz, Joe J. Thomas, Doug Stone and Brad Venable. The show’s original music is composed by Yugo Kanno (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Batman Ninja, Psycho Pass, Ajin) . Premiering on Friday, July 9, is the Netflix original film Fear Street Part 2: 1978 directed by Leigh Janiak and starring Sadie Sink, Emily Rudd, Ryan Simpkins, McCabe Slye, Ted Sutherland, Jordana Spiro, Gillian Jacobs, Kiana Madeira, Benjamin Flores Jr., Ashley Zukerman, Olivia Scott Welch, Chiara Aurelia and Jordyn DiNatale. Marco Beltrami (Logan, A Quiet Place, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, Ford v Ferrari, World War Z, The Wolverine) & Brandon Roberts (Chaos Walking, The Twilight Zone, Motherland: Fort Salem, Underwater) & have composed the movie’s original music. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score on Friday.
