The show’s original music is composed by Ian LeFeuvre (Burden of Truth, Carter) & Benjamin Pinkerton (Creeped Out, Lost Girl). The drama, which follows five young nurses working on the frontlines of a busy downtown hospital who dedicating their lives to helping others, while struggling to help themselves, premiered in Canada on Global earlier this year and will air stateside every Monday night on NBC. Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, December 9, is the British limited series The Trial of Christine Keeler written by Amanda Coe, directed by Andrea Harkin and starring Sophie Cookson, James Norton, Ellie Bamber, Visar Vishka, Emilia Fox, Ben Miles, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Anthony Welsh. Late composer Jonathan Rhys Hill (The Long Song) has written the show’s original music. The 6-part drama, which centers on the “Profumo Affair” of the 1960s, which it saw the attempted cover-up of an affair between a British minister and a model that threatened to destroy the government, premiered in the UK in late 2019 on BBC One and is making its domestic debut on HBO Max.
Premiering on Thursday, December 10, is the HBO Max original film Let Them All Talk directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Meryl Streep, Candice Bergen, Dianne Wiest, Lucas Hedges and Gemma Chan. The movie’s original music is composed by Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Finding Nemo, The Shawshank Redemption, Wall-E, 1917, Road to Perdition, Skyfall) . Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the first season, as well as an original song by Empress Of this Friday.
