Nathaniel Mechaly is scoring the upcoming Netflix docu-series November 13. The 3-parter is directed by Jules & Gédéon Naudet (9/11) and explores the human stories behind the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris on November 13th, 2015. The documentary will share testimonies of the people brought together by tragedy, from the survivors, the fire department, the Police and the leaders of the French government including French President at the time of the events, François Hollande. The Naudet brothers are also executive producing the project with Propagate’s Ben Silverman & Howard T. Owens. November 13 will premiere this summer on Netflix.
Mechaly (Taken series, Colombiana, The Grandmaster, Taxi Brooklyn) has also recently scored the upcoming indie drama O.G. directed by Madeleine Sackler and starring Jeffrey Wright, William Fichtner, Theothus Carter, Mare Winningham, Boyd Holbrook and David Patrick Kelly. The movie follows an inmate entering the final weeks of a twenty-plus-year sentence who must navigate between old loyalties and a new protégé, while he also grapples with the looming uncertainty of his return to life outside bars. Stephen Belber (Management) wrote the screenplay. Sackler and Holbrook are executive producing the project and George Clooney is among the executive producers. O.G. will premiere next month at the Tribeca Film Festival.
