George S. Clinton (Austin Powers series, Mortal Kombat, The Santa Clause 2) is composing the original score for the upcoming Disney Channel original movie Zombies. The film is directed by Jeffrey Hornaday (Teen Beach Movie, Shout) and stars Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Trevor Tordjman, Kylee Russell and Carla Jeffery. The movie musical follows a semester at Seabrook High School in a suburban town whose students must learn to coexist with new transfer students from Zombietown. David Light & Joseph Raso (Seed) and Josh Cagan (The DUFF, Bandslam) wrote the screenplay based on a story by Light & Raso. Hornaday is also executive producing the project with Effie Brown (Dear White People, Star). Zombies will premiere in 2018 on the Disney Channel.
