14th Street Music will release a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Captive. The album features the film’s original score composed by Lorne Balfe (Terminator Genisys, Home, Penguins of Madagascar, The Dilemma, Megamind). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 25, and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. As previously reported, a separate soundtrack featuring songs inspired by the film is also available. Captive is directed by Jerry Jameson and stars Kate Mara, David Oyelowo, Leonor Varela, Jessica Oyelowo, Mimi Rogers and Michael K. Williams. The movie centers on Brian Nichols who broke out of a courthouse jail in 2005 and shot dead the judge assigned to his case as well as a court reporter, sheriff’s deputy and FBI officer.
