Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the sci-fi drama Z for Zachariah. The album features the film’s original music composed by Heather McIntosh (Compliance, Faults, Honeymoon). The soundtrack will be released on September 4, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Z for Zachariah is directed by Craig Zobel and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Margot Robbie and Chris Pine. The movie takes place in the wake of a disaster that wipes out most of civilization and follows a young woman who believes she is the last human on Earth meets a dying scientist searching for survivors. The thriller premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in theaters on August 28 by Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate.
