The details of the soundtrack album for the CBS mini-series The Dovekeepers have been revealed. The album features the series’ original music written by Emmy Award-winning composer Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Monk, Rome, Carnivale, Ugly Betty). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 7, 2015. A physical release is planned for later this year. The Dovekeepers is directed by Yves Simoneau and stars Cote de Pablo, Rachel Brosnahan & Kathryn Prescott, Diego Boneta and Sam Neill. The 2-parter produced by Roma Downey & Mark Burnett is based on Alice Hoffman’s bestselling novel and centers on a group of extraordinary women whose lives intersect in a fight for survival at the siege of Masada. The mini-series premiered earlier this week on CBS. Visit the network’s official website to learn more about the project.
