Premiering tomorrow, May 19, on Fox is the new comedy The Goodwin Games created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and starring Scott Foley, Becki Newton, T. J. Miller, Kat Foster and Melissa Tang. The show’s original score is composed by John Swihart (Napoleon Dynamite, New in Town) who is also the creator’s long running hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother. The Goodwin Games will air every Monday night on Fox. The series follows three grown siblings who return home after their father’s death, and unexpectedly find themselves poised to inherit a vast fortune. Also premiering tomorrow night before moving to its regular time slot on Thursday is the new drama Motive created by Daniel Cerone (Dexter, The Mentalist) and starring Kristin Lehman, Louis Ferreira, Lauren Holly, Roger Cross, Brendan Penny and Cameron Bright. Shawn Pierce (Haven, Defying Gravity) is the composer of the show. The Canadian crime drama features the twist focusing not on who did the crime, but why the crime was committed in the first place. Cerone is also executive producing the series with Louise Clark, Rob Merilees, Erin Haskett, Rob LaBelle, Lindsay Macadam and James Thorpe.
