MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for Hammer of the Gods. The album features the film’s original score by Benjamin Wallfisch (The Escapist, Conquest 1453). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 28, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to be released on August 6 and is available for pre-order here. Check out audio clips from the score after the jump. Hammer of the Gods is directed by Farren Blackburn and stars Charlie Bewley, Clive Standen and James Cosmo. The movie is set in Viking Britain in 871 AD and follows a young Viking warrior who is sent by his father the king on a quest to find his estranged brother who was banished from the kingdom many years before. The film will be released on VOD on May 30, 2013 and will also receive a limited theatrical release on July 5 by Magnolia Pictures’ Magnet Releasing.
