Honorary Oscar-winning composer Ennio Morricone has rejoined the Gorfaine/Schwartz agency. The Italian composer was previously represented by the talent agency up until a couple years ago and the company has just become again the exclusive representation of the legendary composer whose credits include Sergio Leone’s The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Brian De Palma’s The Untouchables, Roland Joffe’s The Mission, Terrence Malick’s Days of Heaven and Leone’s Once Upon a Time in America. Morricone has recently composed the scores for various Italian productions, including the English language drama The Best Offer directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and starring Geoffrey Rush and Jim Sturgess. His music was also recently featured in Quentin Tarantino’s international box office hit Django Unchained, for which he has written the original song Ancora Qui.
