Quartet Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the animated feature Buffalo Kids. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Fernando Velázquez (The Impossible, A Monster Calls, The Orphanage, MamaHercules, Crimson Peak, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Devil). A CD version of the soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples. A digital version is expected to be released in the coming days by Atresmedia Música (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). Buffalo Kids is directed by Juan Jesús Galocha & Pedro Solís and features the voices of Alisha Weir, Stephen Graham, Gemma Arterton and Sean Bean (in its English language version). Composer Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer, The Mandalorian, Tenet, Turning Red, Community, Venom) is reteaming with director Ryan Coogler on the upcoming supernatural horror movie Sinners. The film is written and directed by Coogler and stars Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, Jayme Lawson and Delroy Lindo. The movie follows two twin brothers who are trying to leave their troubled lives behind as they return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. Canadian singer/songwriter and music producer Katie Austra Stelmanis is set to make her narrative feature scoring debut on the upcoming drama Maya & Samar. The film is directed by Anita Doron (screenwriter of The Breadwinner) and stars Nicolette Pearse and Amanda Babaei Vieira. The movie follows a rising journalist for a hip indie website who covers sex and music with free-flowing thought and liberal practice and a queer Afghan who escaped from the Taliban and now lives without papers and working as a dancer in a Athens club for cash whose worlds collide in a torrid affair that exposes their conflicting cultures. Music Box Records has announced the world premiere release of the score for the 1984 French thriller La Garce co-written and directed by Christine Pascal and starring Isabelle Huppert, Richard Berry, Vittorio Mezzogiorno and Jean Benguigui. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Philippe Sarde (The TenantQuest for Fire, Tess, Lord of the FliesPirates, Ghost Story, BaroccoNelly & Monsieur Arnaud).
