Tim Jones (Chuck, Human Target, Cult, Office Uprising, Beast of Burden) has recently scored the upcoming thriller Backtrace. The film is directed by Brian A. Miller (Officer Down, Reprisal, Vice) and stars Sylvester Stallone, Ryan Guzman, Matthew Modine, Meadow Williams and Christopher McDonald. The movie revolves around the lone surviving thief of a violent armored car robbery as he is sprung from a high security facility and administered an experimental drug. Mike Maples wrote the screenplay. Randall Emmett (Lone Survivor, Righteous Kill) & George Furla (2 Guns) are producing the project with Mark Stewart (Empire State, Extraction), Ambyr Childers (A Vigilante) and Matt Luber (Bobby Z). Backtrace will be released in select theaters and on VOD on December 14, 2018 by Lionsgate Premiere.

Jones also has the family adventure Santa Girl directed by Blayne Weaver (6 Month Rule) coming up. The movie starring Jennifer Stone and Jason Dolley follows Santa’s teenage daughter as she leaves the North Pole for the first time to attend college. Paul Di Franco, Mike Elliott (Unbroken: Path to Redemption, Woody Woodpecker), Joseph P Genier (Teen Wolf), and Rob Kerchner are producing the project for Capital Arts Entertainment. No word yet on a release date of the film.
