Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Fear Street Part 3: 1666, Forbidden Fruits, Werewolves Within, Time Cut, Sting) is set to score the upcoming comedic thriller Jacob and the Wolf. The film is written and directed by Josh Monkarsh (As We Know It) and stars Sam Lerner, Camille Hyde, Nikola Djuricko, Richard Kind, Bronson Pinchot, Oliver Cooper, Louis Lombardi, Pete Gardner,Timothy Hornor and Chris Webster. The movie follows a young couple who inherit a seemingly ideal home, but soon learn of its Nazi-affiliated dark past, leading to deadly consequences as their beliefs are questioned. Monkarsh is also producing the project for Traffic City Productions, alongside Joshua Fruehling. Jacob and the Wolf recently finished principal photography in Los Angeles and is expected to premiere in 2027. (THR)
Drubich’s other recent feature projects include the horror thriller Corporate Retreat written and directed by Aaron Fisher and starring Alan Ruck, Odeya Rush, Rosanna Arquette, Ashton Sanders, Kirby Johnson, Benjamin Norris, Sasha Lane, Elias Kacavas, Ellen Toland, Tyler Alvarez and Zión Moreno. The movie will be released in theaters this Friday, May 22 by Passage Pictures.
