The details of the soundtrack album for the thriller Is God Is have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter Moses Sumney and Joseph Shirley (Creed III, The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, The Underdoggs, Bad Trip, Killer Heat, Fairfax,The Mysterious Benedict Society).The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 22 by Lakeshore Records. A first track, Sins of the Father performed by Sumney & Kara Jackson, is already available to stream/download now as a digital single and can also be checked out below. Is God Is is written and directed by Aleshea Harris and stars Kara Young, Mallori Johnson, Janelle Monáe, Mykelti Williamson, Josiah Cross, Erika Alexander, Vivica A. Fox and Sterling K. Brown. The movie based on Harris’ play of the same title follows two sisters who embark on a quest for revenge, confronting a charged family history that will push them to extraordinary lengths. The thriller has just been released in theaters last weekend by Amazon MGM Studios’ Orion Pictures.
