Este Haim (of HAIM) (Maid, Anyone But You, Cha Cha Real Smooth, Suncoast, Tow) & Amanda Yamate (Trap House, Every Body) have teamed up to score the upcoming Netflix original film Voicemails for Isabelle. The movie is written and directed by Leah McKendrick (Scrambled) and stars Zoey Deutch, Nick Robinson, Nick Offerman, Lukas Gage, Ciara Bravo, Harry Shum Jr., Megan Danso, McKendrick herself, Toby Sandeman and Spencer Lord. The romantic comedy revolves around a young woman whose hilariously confessional voicemails to her late sister are unknowingly redirected to a stranger, who begins to fall in love from afar. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal & Steve Tisch (The Pursuit of Happyness, The Equalizer) and Becky Sanderman are producing the Sony Pictures & Escape Artists production. Haim & Yamate have previously co-scored the Netflix films You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah & Do Revenge. Voicemails for Isabelle will premiere on June 19, 2026 on Netflix.
Haim has also recently co-scored George Jaques’s Sunny Dancer (with Zachary Dawes), which premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is set to be released in UK theaters on August 14.
