Brett Detar is composing the score for the upcoming horror feature Wer. The film is directed by William Brent Bell and stars A.J. Cook, Simon Quarterman, Vic Sahay, Sebastian Roché and Brian J. O’Connor. The movie is set in Paris and follows s defense attorney who is looking to clear her client who is a suspect in a slaying of a vacationing American family. Bell wrote the screenplay with Matthew Peterman who is also producing the FilmDistrict, Sierra/Affinity and Incentive Filmed Entertainment Fund production with Steven Schneider (Insidious, The Bay) and Morris Paulson. The film marks Detar’s second collaboration with the director following last year’s horror hit The Devil Inside. No release date has been announced yet for Wer.
Detar also has his second solo album entitled Too Free to Live coming out soon as a singer/songwriter. His first album Bird In The Tangle was released in 2010.
