Alberto Iglesias Scoring ‘Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’
Alberto Iglesias is currently recording his score for the Cold War thriller Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. The movie starring Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Stephen Graham and Benedict Cumberbatch is directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In). The film based on the novel by John Le Carre centers on a veteran British spy who is rehired in secret by his government, which fears that the British Secret Intelligence Service, a.k.a. MI-6, has been compromised by a double agent working for the Soviet. Bridet O’Connor and Peter Straughan (The Men Who Stare at Goats, The Debt) adapted the novel for the big screen. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner (Atonement, Frost/Nixon) and Robyn Slovo (Catch a Fire) are producing.
